Carlotta is a Bavaria 46 that offers unusually spacious accommodations. Easy handling and great comfort make Carlotta an ideal boat for beginners and experienced sailors alike. Although it can accommodate 8 people, I sail with a maximum of 5 persons. Family Sailing: Do you want to go sailing alone with your family or learn to sail with special consideration for children? Special children's menu, ample beach time, and shorter sailing periods to keep kids from getting bored? Pirate treasure hunts, time for playing in the sand? Tell me what you want for your children, and we'll create a wonderful sailing trip. No prior sailing experience required. Learn to Sail: Want to avoid common beginner mistakes? Do you want to trust your anchor in the future and master buoy maneuvers elegantly? Learn techniques to sail a yacht entirely on your own? This sailing trip is not only informative but also conducted with humor and respect. The group size is limited to a maximum of 5 participants. Areas and Departure Points: Martinique, St. Lucia, Grenada, also one-way trips possible for an additional fee. Just ask. Day and Weekend Trips for Groups or Couples: Simply write to me with your wishes, and I will do everything to make them a reality. Whether it's birthday, engagement, or sunset sailing trips, tell me what you desire. Extras: I'm happy to cook for you, as I've worked as a cook and waiter for a long time. Skipper: I've been sailing in the Caribbean for 2.5 years and know many good, affordable restaurants and shopping opportunities. Also, beaches and places for solitary enjoyment or party time. Before that, I was a skipper in Europe for 18 years before crossing the Atlantic with Carlotta. I'm happy to share my experiences with you. After the sailing trip, it's almost always not the end of a trip, but the beginning of a new friendship. If you're doing well, I'm doing well too. Equipment: New roller mainsail, roller genoa, storm sail, dinghy/inflatable boat, 9.8 HP outboard motor, Raymarine navigation device, autopilot, CD/radio/Bluetooth speakers, teak deck, bathing platform, swimming ladder, stern shower, central heating, cockpit speakers, gas stove with oven, 2x 12V refrigerator - 1x with freezer unit, camping gas (butane), safety equipment, fully equipped kitchen, and much more.

Herbert is a great host. Friendly, attentive to every need, always looking for ways to make his passengers get more, see more, experience every opportunity. He’s a great cook. Carlotta is a good sailboat, comfortable yet performant (we got 9 knots + during our week on board). Highly recommended.
Herbert has been a great Captain, he wanted us to enjoy our short trip at most and allowed us to choose the preferred route. We dedicated half day to learning sailing manoeuvres. He is also very experienced in sailing the Carribeans. Boat is very well equipped and confortable for the size. The rating on cleaning is due to the fact he had us on board last minute, probably without much time to do a full cleaning. Highly recommended
We had a wonderful time with Herbert on his sailing boat, and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to join him for another island exploration the following day! Herbert was incredibly responsive and accommodating during the trip-planning process. Once on board, we were impressed by his professionalism and thoughtfulness. I highly recommend him, and I would not hesitate to book with him again anytime!
We had a fantastic day with Herbert sailing on his boat in the sea around Martinique. He is a great skipper and made us feel both very welcome and safe. Furthermore he’s a really nice man. I would commend Herbert to anyone who is contemplating a skippered charter in the region.
11-day dream cruise in the Grenadines. Herbert is very professional, attentive, a fine cook, with a real sense of humor. The boat is very comfortable and well equipped.
