Sailboat Sun Odyssey 43 refitted in 2018 in Punta Ala. The line of this boat is pleasant. On the deck there is ample freedom of movement and the cockpit is also very comfortable thanks to the double wheel of the wheelhouse which makes the passage to the stern free. The cabins are spacious, with beds suitable for any height. One of the 4 cabins has bunk beds and is suitable for the little ones. The boat can therefore accommodate up to 10 people, although maximum comfort is for 8 people. The on-board equipment includes: - 2013 genoa with furling system - battened mainsail of 2017 with lazy bag and lazy jack - sprayhood and bimini top - tender 2,50 m - teak benches and cockpit - refrigerator, stove and gas oven - automatic pilot - wind station The port of departure is Punta Ala, the first and last night in the marina are included. Well maintained boat. Sailing is good enough. Ground assistance is excellent. If I have to find faults, she is a little deaf when maneuvering with the engine and I would upgrade the mooring line.
Boat in order and well equipped, the only drawback is the engine of the tender not working.

The boat is well maintained. We only discovered at check in that we would have to return to Punta Ala on Friday at 6pm, probably a communication fault on the part of the agency and not the owner, which would have changed the holiday plans given that the initial hypothesis was to sail at dawn on Saturday morning to return from the Island of Elba. The owner was available to meet us and allow us to return on Saturday morning. The boat is geolocalized and allows the owner to provide indications certainly in favor of navigation safety, he was very scrupulous in indicating the opportunity to sail on one side or the other of the island, to moor at the port to recharge the battery, it can certainly be a useful service for the success of the holiday, I would suggest adapting the method of engagement depending on the experience of those on board, otherwise you risk being a little too scrupulous. We had a problem with the tender engine, which was later resolved. The boat did not have a bucket for cleaning the deck or a broom for cleaning the internal spaces. All in all a positive rating
