We had a wonderful day. Everything was 5 stars. Highly recommend

We had a great day, Tom and Charlotte are really very nice and we were available for any questions. The boat is as advertised, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book it again. Go there with your eyes closed. Once again, thank you very much for your kindness and your availability.
Great afternoon on the boat! Boat in perfect condition! Tom and Charlotte are very nice and getting to grips with the boat was very easy thanks to their explanations I highly recommend !
Welcoming, attentive and very friendly. The boat conforms to its description and expectations. Easy to handle. The exit and entry of the boat from its location is easy. We are also immediately at the exit of the port. Very good experience.
The boat itself was quite nice - clean, well maintained, and quite adequate for a short afternoon cruise for our group of nine. I had really great communication with the owner Tom in the month prior to the cruise as he was responsive and patiently took the time to set the itinerary that we wanted versus the normal tourist route. Unfortunately, when the day arrived, we had to alter the route due to security for visiting President Macron. We understood this of course. We were just all looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon on the water with Tom as there were many positive customer reviews that specifically mentioned him. Unfortunately, Tom was unavailable on the day of our cruise and instead assigned another skipper - Fabian. This is where the difficulty began. We lost the first 30 minutes of our booking just looking for the boat as the map provided to us showed 3 different locations marked with dots and arrows - very confusing! Even the local dockside restaurant proprietor (at Stellas) couldn’t figure it out when we showed them. Ultimately we found the boat even though when I called Tom his response was that “other customers hadn’t had a problem!” Needless to say, this was not a very welcoming or helpful response in the moment. Once we were on the boat, we tried to put this all behind us and enjoy the afternoon. However, about 10 to 15 minutes into the cruise, Fabien stopped the boat and requested the balance of our payment - on the spot, and in the middle of the sea! When I tried to pay with three different credit cards, none of them worked in the card reader provided. Fabien then threatened to turn the boat around and go back to shore. At one point he was visibly upset, said he could not proceed and actually banged his hand on the boat to express his displeasure. We were all shocked by this display. Finally, I called the owner Tom to explain what was happening and he said that he would send a link for me to pay by phone. This immediately worked with the card I had originally presented so clearly it was his card reader and not my credit card that was the problem. With all of this “drama” we lost another 20 minutes when we could have otherwise been enjoying the afternoon, and it took some time for everyone to calm down after this very disturbing incident. In fact, my guests at one point suggested that we just return to shore and do something else for the afternoon. I would suggest that a better way to have handled ALL of this would have been to have the skipper meet us on the dock once our difficulty finding the boat was reported. I also would suggest that financial transactions be handled on shore either prior to or immediately following a cruise but definitely NOT in the middle of the sea. This was quite an unsettling incident for my guests, and embarassing to me personally. Despite all of this, I paid for the cruise in full as agreed, and tipped Fabien the 150 euros as Tom had requested. Based upon the reviews I read, it appears that cruises with this company have worked well for many but unfortunately it did not for us. I visit the south of France at this time each year but will be booking with other companies in the future. Judith Summer 2025
