boat hire in Cannigione · Beneteau — Oceanis 38.1 "dani" (2017)
Description of Paolo's sailboat
Sailboat - 11.59m — Beneteau - Oceanis 38.1 "dani"
"Dani" moored in Cannigione is a boat to be lived outdoors, a boat built for the Mediterranean, the width of the stern allows an equally large cockpit. The style of the interiors is clean and tidy without too much frills, let's say a minimalist and functional style. Dinette and bow cabin can become a unique space to recreate an open space. Ideal and spacious to navigate in four, there remains an easy-to-carry boat that keeps the route in any condition without dislodging. A daysailer or a big boat Dani is 3 boats in 1. Located in the town of Arzachena, near the Marina di Cannigione you will find lush landscaped beaches with golden sand, transparent water from different shades and rocks typical of Sardinia. It is a place of great naturalistic interest, both in terms of the marine and marine fauna you may even encounter sea turtles. The surrounding Beach is characterized by sandy slopes that allow the youngest to have fun in shallow water safely. The beach is equipped with a car park, a camping, a hotel, a restaurant and a bar. The main points of interest are Punta Rossa, Cala Bitta, Cala Capra, Monte Fico, Gulf of Saline, Punta Cardinalino and Baia Saraceno. The Marina di Cannigione is also able to offer the highest level services with a wide range of services for nautical. From electricity and water supply directly to the jetty, mooring, mooring and various repairs of interior and exterior, in short everything you want. The canyon base will allow you to reach the beaches of Costa Smeralda in no time either by sea or by land.

- Horrible check in/out: Paolo is very unpleasant from the first contact. He doesn't even say hello... he doesn't know the boat, looks up and down, asks where the toilets are at check out... with boundless bad faith, so much so that he contradicts himself many times; - Many items on the check in checklist don't match the boat. This wastes a lot of time; Paolo doesn't help at all and says he only goes through once at the end... Fortunately, his employees eventually appear and are very pleasant and helpful; - The safety equipment (flares, etc.) is sealed. We'll have to get an employee's pliers to check it. We'll leave without any toolbox; - No strong hand to balance the boat at anchor. DANI wiggles at anchor because the anchor rail is offset to port; a rather difficult situation given the proximity of the other ships due to the density; - Mainsail tack slides into the cleat: impossible to sail properly, the mainsail slides into the spreaders. Sail in poor condition ready to tear. At the check out, Paolo denies the problem. He ties two successive knots on the cleat to try to demonstrate that the rigging is usable. Twice, I grab the tack boot with my bare hand which slides easily again. Paolo's tinkering does not hold and turns out to be as useless as it is potentially dangerous. He then manipulates the cleat blocker which breaks under the pressure of his index finger then accuses us of the damage... The whole crew is gobsmacked! - Systematic rotten egg smell from the shower head on the aft deck; - Toplight broken and hanging by the electric wire. Fortunately detected at the check in. It will fall violently on the deck 1m from my friend; - One of the SUPs is equipped with a fin stub, unsuitable, much too small. This SUP will prove unusable because it drifts considerably and moves crab-like due to its tiny fin. However, I ask at check-in to change the fin. Paolo replies that it is the standard size. Although I show him the other standard-sized fin, he denies it and says that there is no other. The SUP is billed at €100. I request a refund of this sum of €100; - The boat does not have a key to close the cockpit... we were not at peace in port... I would like to point out that I have photos of all the points raised here as proof.
