The Jeanneau Yacht 55 was voted best sailboat over 14 m in 2023 by Design Innovation Award. The choice of its layout by reserving two thirds of its interior space for its owners, with two completely independent guest rooms and a spacious deck layout, particularly at the rear, make this boat a luxurious cruise boat for 6 people and a sailor who will find a cabin at the front of the boat. The boat has all the options for a cruise departing from South Corsica. A professional sailor will be made available to tenants by a contract whose rate will be between 250 and 300 € per day depending on the period. The prices are inclusive of VAT at 20% included, including the price of renting the boat. This is the hull number 1 of this model, many videos of which are available on the internet. In one word: Amazing! In five: Sad to be back ashore. Jeanneau 55 is a brand new and well-appointed boat. We were a family of 4 and we had plenty room and cabins for all, especially considering that all can very comfortably sleep on the deck. Two of us did just that. Benoit, the skipper, is a rare find: professional, courteous, helpful, cool and collected. Knows the boat as the palm of his hand and mans it effortlessly and elegantly. Ready to explain and show how things work and let everyone steer the boat. Most of the trip was under sails: fast, quiet and beautiful. Benoit took us to many lovely spots between Corsica and Sardinia. The only drawback of the trip – it was too short. We’ll be smarter next year…
Understand the weather was out of the Skippers control we suggested we were flexible over a couple days but he still decided for take us out despite the thunder and lightening warming. 100% not worth the value for what we paid. The Skipper was great though and tried his best but still quite disappointing.
