Houseboat - 6m — Schimke - 600 / 2
Whether it's a family outing, team building, adventure for captains big and small, or wild romance on the lakes of the Mecklenburg Lake District. There are no limits to your imagination. Our minis will open up the idyll of the rivers, lakes and canals north of Berlin, starting from the large Lychensee in Brandenburg. See the landscape, nature and people from a completely new perspective. Please bring a sleeping bag or blanket, pillow, bedding, sheets, towels and food. •Functional equipment on all standard rafts •External dimensions 3 x 6 m, 8 HP outboard motor (no license required) •4 sleeping places (bunk beds) •Kitchen shelf with 1 bottle gas cooker, washing up bowl •Cooling compartment in the pontoon, separate toilet with waste water tank •Swivelling outdoor grill Instruction fee 60 euros Final cleaning 50 euros (can be done yourself)

It was fine for 3 nights, but important things like the horn were broken and the engine should be checked more closely as it doesn't always work when started (not very pleasant in locks) unless you pull the shock absorber, which the harbor master advised us against. When we asked why, he shrugged his shoulders. The boat could have been cleaned before setting off on the trip - we cleaned it ourselves at sea first. But all in all it was a very pleasant experience.
OK for a day trip, not suitable for an overnight stay.
A great little boat for a few hours, for a small family. Beds, toilet and seating are great. It lacks a fridge and interior lighting. Beautiful lake and the owner and the employees of the Steeg facility were so nice and helpful.
