The owner was very nice and very communicative. The boat was ready to go when we arrived. The advertisement says Vieux Port but Marseille has multiple ports which are also deemed “Vieux Port” so there was some confusion where to meet. But we got the time back on the back-end of the day. That was very generous. This type of (Italian) boats are spacious boats, perfect for a day out with family and friends. It had a big old school 5.7L V8 engine, does reasonable in the fuel and plenty of power. Although the boat is 21 years old it does the job. It does need maintenance, the power trim didn’t work so it uses a lot of unnecessary fuel (trimmed down fixed). Its good for take-off with wakeboard of skier behind but not good going faster. Some of the gauges on the dashboard are a bit dodgy and don’t work properly and back seat cushion is loose. The newly installed Bluetooth music player works great. So would say €100-150 euro a day to expensive compared to very modern RIBs with big outboard engines you can rent for similar money (250/300hp on 8m/25’ RIB). But we had a great day and the boat did what I expected. Would still recommend it if the price was a bit more attractive in retrospect.
Alba was a great host, however the boat broke down and we had to be shifted to one of her friends boats. This other person was a little rude and wasnt accommodating at all. We had to stop the trip after a few arguments.
