Hello and welcome to Pointe-à-Pitre! If you dream of living several days on a sailboat for an unforgettable experience and want to take advantage of your vacation to grow internally or simply meet beautiful people, discover magnificent beaches and/or hike on the volcano - you have found your ideal stay and companion! You will embark from the Marina du Bas-du-Fort port in Pointe-à-Pitre aboard a sailboat that can accommodate up to 4 visitors, in 2 cabins with 2 double beds. I offer you sailing itineraries around Guadeloupe, taking into account your wishes and what is possible. Fuel, moorings, meals and extras are not included. A gas-equipped kitchen, a refrigerator and some basic seasonings are at your disposal to prepare our meals. You can let yourself be guided during the navigation, and I will participate in your meals. A welcome punch will be offered to you on the evening of your arrival. I am also a yoga, qigong, martial arts, endurance sports and core strengthening teacher, and I offer a session of 1h30 to 2h30 depending on the practice. I am delighted to share my passions with you! Rates are available in the extras section. Safety is my top priority and I guarantee safe navigation. The boat is equipped with the most efficient and recent navigation instruments (2024), including AIS transmitter and receiver (VHF, plotter, vest, radar, etc.). The safety plan is available in this ad, and upon your arrival, I will give everyone a safety information document. I ask you to respect the safety instructions, for your well-being, that of the boat and our pleasure together. The operation on board a boat differs from that on land. For example, the refrigerator is smaller and less powerful, and fresh water is rationed because we only have two tanks containing a total of 560 liters. In addition to the safety instructions, I also give a briefing so that our life on board remains pleasant and worry-free. Our group of 2 couples had a wonderful vacation at sea in Guadeloupe. Les Saintes were magnificent and Lex's approachability and welcome helped us greatly. Lex is a very welcoming, dedicated, conscientious captain and he is a great host. He is professional, available and very attentive to caution and has the safety and well-being of his passengers at heart. A captain of a pleasant company, cheerful and very jovial. Available and very good guide to inform us about various information. Lex offers various additional activity services such as yoga, martial arts, snorkeling and has many contacts for various other additional services. Despite the difficult sea conditions for the return, Lex ensured our comfort by working very hard at the helm and always being extremely careful. Superb first experience on a sailboat. We have just spent five exceptional days aboard Lex's sailboat, and we can only share our enthusiasm for this unforgettable experience. As soon as we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty and impeccable maintenance of the sailboat. Everything is perfectly clean and well organized, with particular attention paid to safety, which is clearly Lex's priority. In addition to being an experienced sailor, Lex is a lovely, caring and always attentive person. He was able to guide us to discover breathtaking landscapes, accompany us for memorable snorkeling sessions, and introduce us to freediving with patience and passion. The yoga classes offered on board offer a unique moment of serenity in the open sea. The equipment available (masks, snorkels, fins, fishing rods, etc.) is in excellent condition, which largely contributed to making our activities even more enjoyable. We also had the opportunity to share long, exciting conversations with Lex, who made each exchange rich and captivating, adding extra depth to our experience. Thanks to Lex, we were able to fully recharge our batteries, rest and have an unforgettable vacation. His kindness and professionalism transformed this trip into a memorable experience. My husband and I stayed 5 nights aboard the Anamayi to start the year 2025. We were warmly welcomed by Lex and his partner Florence. The boat is impeccably clean, Lex prioritizes safety on his boat and is very educational about navigation, learning sea knots, and life underwater. As snorkeling enthusiasts, Lex took us to the most beautiful sites of the Saintes Islands, to meet turtles, boxfish and parrotfish... A very nice stay as well as a great encounter.
My wife and I spent 3 wonderful days and 2 nights on board Lex's sailboat, who is both the owner and the skipper. We left Pointe-à-Pitre and sailed to Les Saintes, where we spent two nights moored on a buoy in the beautiful bay and explored the surroundings with the dinghy. Lex proved to be extremely professional, attentive to safety and with a deep knowledge of the area. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover Guadeloupe from the sea. In particular, Lex is perfect for those who are new to sailing: he is patient and available to explain every detail, making the trip not only relaxing, but also educational. Recommended experience!
The sailings, the sunrise yoga sessions on the front deck in the bay of the saintes, the first dive at Pain de Sucre, the meals and laughs shared with Lex, the trips in the annex in search of turtles will remain unforgettable moments for us. Our children aged 8 and 10 loved the cruise! We highly recommend sailing with Lex. His boat is very comfortable and Lex is very professional and warm.
