The Capicciola is an aluminum trawler built by the Méta shipyard (became famous among sailors with the construction of Bernard Moitessier's Joshua) We have been sailing with our family for 10 years between the French Riviera, Corsica, Italy and Sardinia. It is now based in the south of Corsica which makes it easy to enjoy the south of the island, the Maddalena archipelago and the north of Sardinia nearby. The coast is heavenly, the anchorages numerous and varied. Marinas full of charm. It is economical and comfortable, most often sailing at 8 or 9 knots under autopilot. It includes a large comfortable cockpit with a folding sailboat-style table, a saloon with equipped kitchen, the steering position and an accessory berth. The forward cabin is comfortable with a double bed, hand shower and electric toilet. The cockpit is well protected from the sun by an awning and side tarpaulins. Sleeping for 2 additional people is possible in a tent. The boat is equipped with Furuno fixed GPS and radar and a quicksilver tender with 2.3 horsepower Honda engine. This year the boat will be available for the day, with skipper required, from August in the bay of Saint Cyprien located just north of Porto Vecchio, between the golf courses of Pinallero and Porto-Novo, for sea trips of a daytime. You will discover the superb anchorages of southern Corsica. Lunch on board may be offered or a beach restaurant. Aperitif-sunset outings can also be organized from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to enjoy the sunset over the Bavella Needles, only a tailor-made proposition, as well as a night on board in the bay.
