Very good if you just want to spend a few days on the water in a boat without having to worry. The boat has its own charm, it's old but everything works and it's not a luxury but it's a lot of fun...I'd be happy to go again.
Had the best time on board
The boat is good enough for a couple of days trip on lake and channels. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful weekend!
There were four of us (2 adults, two young children) and we had very nice and adventurous holidays on the boat. Sure, it's not super luxurious, but four of us slept very well in it, enjoyed the charm and never had any problems during our week-long tour. Because of the height of the bridge, we were often happy that the boat was exactly the right size. Great value for money and nice and uncomplicated operation/introduction.
had a great time with my son. easy boat to sail, even as a total novice as I. and amazing surroundings to sail in with many good places to dock . can only recommend it. Rex
Everything was beyond expectations. The boat was great, and Lars and his colleague were mega helpful. Everything in the boat was spacious and tidy. Also the beds were big enough (I'm 1.90m), which I didn't expect. I had to get used to sailing with such a large boat, but this also went very smoothly thanks to the bow thruster. I highly recommend this boat and lessor, and we will definitely be back next summer. Thanks guys!
All the best. gladly again
Perfectly reasonable boat at a good price, it was good for me to practice maneuvering a larger vessel in tight spaces
Great experience.
It was a terrible experience. The boat broke down the first day, and the owner was first too busy to come and help us and then he was sick. So we moored for 3 days unable to sail. After three days without help we ended up locking up the boot and we drowe back in a taxi and gave the keys to the owner. The owner keep our entire deposit and refused to compensate us. We tried to contact ClickandBoat, but they did not help us. On their website it says that we should be compensated in case the boat breaks down. But when we contacted them, they just said they were unable to help us and we had to contact the owner. So in practice ClickandBoat was no help and the regulations and guarantees on their website are not worth anything. Don’t use this owner or ClickandBoat.
What a great weekend we have had with this nice boat. Lars received us hospitably, helped with loading luggage and took the time to explain things. When we returned he was already waiting for us, great!
Since I myself have a boat in Hamburg and compare the maintenance condition then it can only get better was not very good. The space on board was also very tight.
Excellent boat if you’re on a budget! Also easy to handle and a good size to get you places. There are a number of locations that larger boats would not be able to go that this boat can go to. My wife and I traveled quite a distance in this boat. We went from Vinkeveen up to Weesp then down to Utrecht, then over to Gudda and back to Vinkeveen. There is no hot water on the boat and no shower. There is cold water and a toilet. Also, there is no heater inside the boat. Not a big deal during summer time but in the winter this could be problematic. The refrigerator kept our food cold and there’s plenty of storage. Also, there is a kettle for heating water and coffee filters so all you need to do is buy some coffee and cream and you’re set in that regard. Plenty of dishes and utensils as well. The owner of the boat threw in a couple of towels, and I went to the store and bought paper towels and a bunch of food which is relatively a short distance from where I pick up the boat. All in all, an excellent first time traveling around the Netherlands in a boat! We made some fantastic memories, and will never forget. In fact, we will most likely book again for a longer stay. Hope this is helpful.
1.It was very difficult to reach the landlord, does not reply to messages and does not answer the phone. I think we could only reach him through the neighbors. In a totally neglected apartment we were offered a 6 day old puppy for sale before we even saw the boat. 2.The boat is not up to standard, that's for sure, I know a lot of boats. That's why he refused to send pictures of the interior, I should have doubted that. Black mold/ dirty/ in need of renovation (photos available). We took over the boat anyway. We didn't have high expectations anyway 3.After about 30 minutes of driving, the throttle knob fell off. 4.After about 1 hour the bow thruster stopped working, very unpleasant. 5. After about 1.5 hours the boat was unable to maneuver in front of a bridge. 6. It took almost 2 hours for the landlord to come to the bridge. Diagnosis: propeller fell off! 7. The landlord took over the boat there. 8.We had to call an expensive taxi to get back to our vehicle which was parked at the rental company, although a 2nd driver went the same way back. 9.The deposit was returned to us. 10. The rental company's driver tried to provoke us. 11. We were offered another boat, which we could only have used in the landlord's port, for sleeping, since the bridges no longer open at this time and we could no longer have reached our destination. We refused and went to a hotel and then home for a lot of money. Very sad circumstances and I am sorry that the gentleman is now forced to service his boat. I also have a hard time imagining that this boat meets legal standards, but that's just my opinion. I would like my money back, but the landlord is no longer responding.
Friendly people. Good reception!
We had a lovely time on the boat. The landlord is very friendly. However, the boat did not live up to our expectations. The pictures need to be updated urgently. The condition of the boat is old and there was a strong smell of diesel below deck, so we could only be there with the windows and doors open, even at night.
The boat works great and is fully equipped with clean duvets and pillows and kitchen utensils! The boat needs maintenance on the outside, which the owner himself said he would do. The arrival was a bit awkward, the luggage had to go through the house and a boat on the boat, it would have been more convenient if that went a bit easier. We really enjoyed it!
